Pre-Sharpened Carbide Cutters Are Ready for Large Turning Projects

Medina, MN –Rockler Woodworking and Hardware has introduced Full Size Carbide Turning Tools, rounding out their popular line of carbide turning tools which also includes mini and pen turning sizes. The four Full Size Carbide Turning Tools – Round, Square, Diamond,and Square Radius – all are furnished with pre-sharpened carbide cutter heads that are ready to use right out of the package and that stay sharp longer than common steel heads. When the cutter becomes dull, the head can be rotated to a fresh, sharp edge, and can be replaced with a new cutter head when all edges have been worn down. The Full Size tools feature solid ash handles encased in an ergonomic rubber grip to deliver maximum comfort and minimize fatigue while completing large turning projects such as spindles and bowls.

Each Full Size Carbide Turning Tool measures approximately 19-1/2" in length and is equipped with a contoured ash wood handle which is 13'' long and a stainless steel shaft with a carbide cutter head which makes up the rest of the length. The handle is coated with soft, grippy rubber to provide a comfortable grip.
